So am I the only person unafraid to the admit that until about ten minutes ago I thought Paul Ryan was Rand Paul?

That’s probably because Paul Ryan is the “I love Ayn Rand/I reject Ayn Rand” guy!

Also: Rand Paul is the guy who has to keep explaining that he wasn’t named after Ayn Rand (but likes her!).

So, to sum up: Rand Paul is a fan of not-namesake Ayn (rhymes with Ryan) Rand, while Paul Ryan (rhymes with Ayn) is an Ayn-Rand-disowning ex-Rand-fan.
