Who owns Gawker Media if Nick Denton dies?
re: Gawker’s impact over decades. I wish nothing but long life and health for the man! But it occurs to me that I have no idea. His family? A trust with vested employees? All equity split among current registered users of Kinja?
Only one way to find out.

“Hadn’t really thought about it, though I probably should. None of the solutions — trust, family ownership, collective — are very appealing. At least not to me. Because I’d be dead.”
